Not saying anything against dev status, but this is what a dev product can look like! Normally I might be hesitant to give a game like this too much brainpower. This game was up there with my Sky Rogue download in terms of indie games that are full-blown production quality. Quite regularly, I’ve been impressed with controller support in indie games, even the solo dev projects. It works beautifully with a controller, which surprises me. It’s essentially all low-polygon graphics with levels/stages of assorted belongings of a nowhere owner, but plenty of ledges to jump around and hit stuff. Have you ever been in a situation like this? It seems to happen every few years in some locations.Īnyway, so that’s my anecdote.

As animal lovers, we’re hoping for the best, but hope they can move on.

The mama is around, but we’re not totally sure what’s going on. We’ve been doing some cleaning around the property and have been nursing a small black kitten that is inhabiting a cupboard in our garage. Catlateral Damage: Let’s Knock Some Stuff Over It is very amusing and a great game for anybody because it is challenging and ready for an audience. The objective of the game is to knock stuff off shelves, chase red lasers, and collect powerups. The game is about you, a cat, in a playground suitable for the mischievous antics of a cat. The end.Catlateral Damage is a game from Itch.IO that is so simple in concept, but so enjoyable that way! I also know it is time for another review! This game is part of a bundle I obtained and is one of many of the great games over at Itch. Rock, Paper, Shotgun s Nathan Grayson reviewed the original Catlateral Damage as "basic and inconsequential as can be, and thats exactly what I wanted from it. Kotaku s Luke Plunkett reviewed the original Catlateral Damage "as accurate a cat simulator as youll ever play."

īuzzFeed s Joseph Bernstein reviewed the original Catlateral Damage favorably citing "If you have ever wanted to know what it is like to be a little feline menace, this is your chance." The full version of the game was released on Steam on. There was a Kickstarter campaign for the game that ran between 16 June 2014 and 11 July 2014. On 13 January 2014, Catlateral Damage was released on Steams "Steam Greenlight" service. Development for a full release began in September 2013. The original version of Catlateral Damage was created for the August 2013 7DFPS game jam.
